Remembering our Dad

A couple of Saturday's ago, we had a whanau gathering to remember our dad, Major, who would have been 100 if he was still with us. It was my sister's idea and I was happy to go along with it. We spent a most enjoyable afternoon over a simple buffet, catching up on the news from all the cousins, aunties and in-laws, watched the kids run round and round and even caught a wedding which was moved the foyer next to us due to inclement weather.
